spry-breeze began in a crowded lecture hall at the University of Oxford, where two postgraduate historians discovered they shared more than an interest in medieval England. Both had grown frustrated with how history was often presented to the public: dry, disconnected from modern life, and stripped of the human drama that makes the past so compelling.

They envisioned something different. Experiences that would bridge the gap between academic rigour and public engagement. Tours that treated participants as intelligent adults hungry for real knowledge, not sanitised soundbites.
